📚 Professional Standards
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work in accordance with their Ethical Framework. This includes regular supervision, continued professional development, and a commitment to your autonomy, safety, and well-being.
If you are ever unhappy with any part of the service, I encourage open conversation. You also have the right to make a formal complaint to the BACP if needed.
👣 Ending Counselling
You are free to end counselling at any time. Where possible, I recommend we plan a closing session to reflect on the work and support a meaningful ending. Counselling can be short or long-term depending on your needs.
📧 Contact Outside Sessions
You can contact me by email at kerry@infinitycounselling.org for practical matters only (e.g. rescheduling). I do not offer therapeutic support via email or text between sessions.
🤍 Final Note
These policies are here to protect you, clarify expectations, and ensure a supportive, respectful therapeutic relationship. If you have any questions about what’s written here, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Generally speaking, a Privacy Policy often addresses these types of issues: the types of information the website is collecting and the manner in which it collects the data; an explanation about why is the website collecting these types of information; what are the website’s practices on sharing the information with third parties; ways in which your visitors and customers can exercise their rights according to the relevant privacy legislation; the specific practices regarding minors’ data collection; and much, much more.
